A glorious riot of colour—golden hues, turquoise, orange, deep blue, yellow and hot pink swirl around the canvas in this new work by American abstract artist, Adam Cohen. Cohen’s acrylic paintings are so rich in texture and colour that they possess a palpable energy. His style is very physical as he uses grand gestural movements with his paint brush. A pallet knife cuts through the multiple layers of paint to create lines and structure.

He acquired a BFA at Philadelphia’s Tyler School of Art and lived and painted in Rome for a year. After many successful years as an illustrator, he returned to his first love--painting. Adam Cohen lives and paints in the Catskills, NY. He has exhibited extensively in the US, Europe, Asia and most recently in Amsterdam and Venice.
