The Government Stable is a unique interpretation of the 2015 General Election and takes the form of a single monumental sepia ink drawing. Created by official artist of the general election Adam Dant, this record of the national historical event is based on his experiences on the 2015 general election campaign trail. The artwork takes the form of a fictitious space, the ‘General Election Campaign Archive’ in which architectural locations from the campaign trail are depicted filled with icons and artefacts of electioneering. Whilst looking at the artwork the stories which took place throughout the course of the election campaign unfold before the viewer's eyes.
