Description
From 1950 to 1960 Giacometti explored the theme of the character in the workshop and this Artwork is the preparatory drawing for the lithograph “Annette in the workshop” and was reproduced in the 1970 catalog raisonné: “Giacometti The Complete Graphics and 15 drawings” by Herbert C. Lust.
Annette, his wife and muse, will be – with his brother Diego – his favorite model. She is represented here in a very slender manner, with very fine lines and delicate contours.
