Condition Report
Please note the colors and shades in the online catalogue illustration may vary depending on screen settings.
This photograph is in generally excellent condition. On the mount, a thin excess of dry-mounting tissue is visible along the left and right edges of the print.
On the reverse of the mount, 'PD C82-0549' and 'EM412-3' are written in an unidentified hand in pencil.
Although Karen Haas's and Rebecca Senf's book, 'Ansel Adams in the Lane Collection,' publishes the most comprehensive list to date of the studio stamps and labels Adams used throughout his career, the Carmel studio stamp on the reverse of the present mount is not included. The stamp, similar to BMFA 11, but with the zip code '93923,' is dated with both the negative and printing dates (in this case, 1932 and 1977, respectively) in an unidentified hand in ink.
There is a Grindstone Trust Co. typed label on the reverse of the frame.
