‘Entrance to a Lagoon,’ an acrylic painting by Calgary artist Aron Hill uses both bold and delicate shapes to create an engaging abstract landscape. Conceptually, Hill’s work finds company in the art of famed modernist Jack Bush.

He obtained a BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Alberta College of Art and Design and his MFA from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006.
He has exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. Hill’s work is held in private and corporate collections.
