The artist is known for his use of flat, solid colours and shallow space revealing the influence of modern painters Jack Bush and William Perehudoff.

Aron Hill lives and works in Calgary, Alberta. He graduated from Alberta College of Art and Design in 2000 with a BFA in Interdisciplinary studies. He then completed his MFA at Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2006. Hill has exhibited across Canada and in Dubai. His work is held in private and corporate collections.
