Inks serie: Chinese calligraphy creates the "I" by combining two signs: the bow and the hand.
My digressions on the origin of Self-awareness persist. In the infinitely small there is no more matter or energy, only information flows, vibrating strings, and it is through my strong vertical gesture that consciousness is asserted, the consciousness that observation, the human hand, brings to light, the power of which will be expressed in the projection of a stone and then an arrow into the distance, allowing our gaze to rise to the horizon. It's this growing monstrous power of the human species that I want to depict in these works, albeit in a small format.

Série Encres : En calligraphie chinoise, le "Je" est formé de l'assemblage de deux signes, ceux de l'arc et de la main. Mes digressions se poursuivent sur l'origine de la conscience de soi. Dans l'infiniment petit, il n'y a plus ni matière ni énergie, seule de l'information circule, des cordes en vibration et c'est par mon geste vertical et résolu que s'affirme la conscience, celle que l'observation la main humaine rend évidente et dont la puissance s'exprimera dans la projection au loin une pierre puis une flèche, permettant au regard de se lever sur l'horizon. C'est bien cette puissance devenue monstrueuse de l'espèce humaine, que je tends à rendre dans ces œuvres au format pourtant modeste.
