Description
This is a handwritten letter from the incredibly well-traveled globe trotting Minimalist artist Carl Andre. He writes with a dateline of 15 January 82 to his sister, teacher Joan Balerna. The letter features his trademark "@" signature - decades before Twitter! For those who ask - and you always do -- Carl met Ana Mendieta in 1979 and they married in 1985. This letter was written in 1982.
