Contemporary, and cool—this bright, glossy white sculpture was created by Quebec’s Claude Millette. He is known for his compelling abstract work that often plays with the viewer’s perception of balance and imbalance. The Effervescence series of sculptures resemble the form of tumbling dice—as individual cubes sit stacked on top of one another at precarious angles.

Born in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Millette studied at the École de sculpture de Saint-Jean-Port-Joli and apprenticed with sculptors Robert Poulin and Jordi Bonet. Millette's works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
