Claudia Renfro, was born in San Francisco in 1957. Raised in New Jersey and NYC she users her distinctive drawings and sculptures to highlight, explore and confront societal norms and issues by employing an edginess blended with humorous intent. Her intuitive approach to art portrays the breaking out of the “ball and chain” we impose on ourselves. Claudia received a BFA from Cooper Union in NYC. She has exhibited her work in numerous galleries in New York and Connecticut, as well as being in several private collections.
