This an original Abstract Expressionist silkscreen with desirable deckled edges, so it can be floated and framed. It was named after Jimi Hendrix iconic 1960s song "The Wind Cries Mary." This work features the blindstamp of of the printer, Phillip Wallach (copyright 1980) and the elegant blindstamp with star of the publisher Larry B. Wright Art Productions New York.

This richly colored silkscreen is printed upon fine, hand-made laid paper and with full deckled margins. The image is bright and fresh and has never been framed or mounted.

A contemporary American painter and printmaker, Darryl Hughto received his B.S. degree from SUNY Buffalo in 1965 and his MFA in 1969 from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. He had his first show at the Everson Museum. Darryl Hughto has received a high reputation for both his abstract and representational art. In 1977 he obtained the Theodoran Award from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
