About the Artist: David Alfaro Siqueiros (1896 - 1974) was an important Mexican social realist painter and printmaker, better known for his large murals in fresco. Along with Diego Rivera and José Clemente Orozco, he established "Mexican Muralism", and the three are considered the greatest Mexican Masters of the 20th century.
