Description
David Hockney discovered the iPhone as an artistic medium in 2009, when he made his first digital drawing. Always at hand and easy to use, the new tool offered him a whole new range of possibilities to capture a fleeting moment in time and the changing light condition of the sky throughout days and seasons, directly on his screen.
Published by Taschen, the artist’s book presents these impressions in 120 drawings made between 2009 and 2012 and arranged by the artist in chronological order.
