Description
One of a group of large carvings in Portland Stone executed by EK between 1928 and 1935. The King was originally conceived to be placed in the long grass at Clouds Hill, T E Lawrence’s Dorset home (Now looked after by the National Trust). Unfortunately, Lawrence was killed in a motorcycle accident before the work could be installed.
