Anonymous Configurations :

Anonymous Configurations presents a poetic research featuring cubic elements that are both stereotyped and singular. Metaphors for individuals, dehumanized and similar to constellations, the figures only reveal themselves through what they reflect or the relationships they have between them. Thus, the forms are defined by the spaces that keep them at a distance, their convergences and inclinations, the confluences that connect them, their distances, the margins that separate or connect them as well as their balance of power. Disembodied, the volumes and voids are articulated around their allegorical powers and the material, both palpable and ethereal, that constitutes them. Evoking a mise en abîme which questions the relationship between the interior of oneself and the exterior of oneself, this research also alludes to the place of the individual in his urban environment and in the various groups to which he is affiliated. This series underlines for me the paradoxical experience of a plastic research centered on the ever more in-depth study of a material that is both transparent and three-dimensional and the disembodiment of subjects being reduced to their symbolic intensity.

Configurations Anonymes présente une recherche poétique mettant en scène des éléments cubiques à la fois stéréotypés et singuliers. Métaphores des individus, déshumanisés et semblables à des constellations, les figures ne se révèlent qu’à travers ce qu’elles reflètent ou les rapports qu’elles entretiennent entre elles. Ainsi, les formes se définissent par les espaces qui les maintiennent à distance, leurs convergences et inclinaisons, les confluents qui les relient, leurs éloignements, les marges qui les séparent ou les rattachent ainsi que leurs rapports de force.
Désincarnés, les volumes et les vides s’articulent autour de leurs puissances allégoriques et de la matière qui les constitue, à la fois palpable et éthérée.
Mise en abîme des rapports de l’intérieur de soi à l’extérieur de soi, cette recherche fait également allusion à la place de l’individu dans son environnement urbain et dans les différents groupes auxquels il s’affilie.
Cette série souligne pour moi l’expérience paradoxale d’une recherche plastique axée sur l’étude toujours plus approfondie d’une matière tant transparente que tridimensionnelle et la désincarnation des sujets se réduisant à leur intensité symbolique.
