What really interests Francesca Catastini within her research is building bridges and looking for different layers of analogies. Her work mainly aims at transcending the idea of separation. She often combines images with images, text, or other objects in a no ladder like interaction, to activate a process of continuous invention and a stratification of possible meanings. One of her main source of inspiration is the construction of human knowledge, the way we perceive and our attempts to understand things.
