According to the information in the cast book, the current state of research and contrary to the information in the catalogue raisonné, 7 bronze casts of an edition of 7, 3 epreuve d'artiste casts, 2 cement casts and possibly 2 further unnumbered bronze casts - a total of 12 to 14 copies - were produced in 1951, in the first version after Stein (cat.no. 162/1). Altogether - adding up the copies of both versions - we have to assume the existence of a maximum of 18 cast copies of this work.
