This classic image by Ortman incorporates some of his most characteristic signs and symbols: crosses, circles, and arrows. Printed by Sirocco Screenprinters of North Haven under the supervision of Ives-Sillman of New Haven. The rest of this complete portfolio, with work by Stuart Davis, Robert Indiana, Ellsworth Kelly, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Motherwell, Larry Poons, Ad Reinhardt, Frank Stella, and Andy Warhol, as well as this work by George Ortman, can be seen in the collections section of this gallery listings under the title "Ten Works By Ten Painters."
