Condition Report
The canvas has had a firm relining and the paint surface is stable. The entire surface is covered in a thin layer of modern varnish which is clear. There appears to be discoloured retouching in small areas of the water, sky and boats. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals scattered retouchings in the aforementioned areas, including on old stretcher marks on the left, top and right margins. Overall the painting is in fair condition and presents well.
