Condition Report
The panel is uncradled, flat and stable. The paint surface is dirty and the varnish is discoloured. The is a vertical split in the top of the panel measuring approximately 4cm. Small pin prick spots of discoloured retouching have become visible throughout the picture surface. Inspection under ultraviolet light confirms the above and reveals a thick layer of old varnish. The picture is in overall fairly good condition.
