Akte negen, futility is a time lapse recording of a performance by Guido van der Werve. We see the artist on a wide and empty beach, building a large infinity symbol in the sand. As he progresses to finish his construction, the sea rises to high tide. When the infinity symbol is finally completed, it is washed away by the water.
