Great finesse with colour and a harmonious colour chord distinguish this pastel from 2021. An extensive area develops into a nearly material weave of various shades of blue, ranging from dark blue to turquoise, accompanied by two contrasting, narrow stripes in orange and yellow at the top and bottom edges of the painting. Layers of strokes and hatching, loosely woven, placed on top of and beneath one another, woven together, set the powdery pigments into motion. They in this way begin to shimmer, and at the same time appear to separate from the ground and to float immaterially in front of the paper.

Große koloristische Finesse und ein harmonischer Farbakkord zeichnen dieses Pastell von 2021 aus. Eine ausgedehnte Fläche entwickelt sich in einem nahezu stofflichen Gewebe verschiedener Blautöne von Dunkelblau zu Türkis, begleitet von zwei kontrastierenden schmalen Streifen in Orange und Gelb an den oberen und unteren Bildrändern. Locker verwobene, über- und untereinandergelegte, miteinander verflochtene Strichlagen und Schraffuren lassen die pudrigen Pigmente in Bewegung geraten. Auf diese Weise beginnen sie zu flirren, scheinen sich gleichsam vom Untergrund zu lösen und immateriell vor dem Papier zu schweben.
