Description
This stunning silkscreen, printed at the renowned Serigrafia Studio, was based upon an original collage created by the artist that was first exhibited at the Ulysses Gallery on West 57th Street in New York City. For your reference, included is an image of the Cover and Acknowledgements to the catalogue of Chermayeff's collages, in which he thanks the head of Serigrafia for her "incredible craftsmanship" in creating beautiful museum quality silkscreens of the work like this one.
Ivan Chermayeff is one of the most important designers of the 20th Century. Below is a link to his 2017 New York Time obituary:
