Jaromir Funke, together with Joseph Sudek founded in 1923 the Czech Photographic Society. Jaromir Funke is an author who - in the same expressive way as Sudek - moved in the avant-garde sphere by using simple elements taken from everyday life made particularly fascinating by careful lighting and a use of mirrors that clearly recalls a surrealist taste. His still lives are realised in particularly original composition as is evident in the photograph shown here.
