Description
Artist's Statement:
“Our cat Vinny is not the most affectionate cat, but he is a very curious boy who likes to be in the center of the action. When Tae [my partner] and I are in the studio Vinny is usually with us—watching with great curiosity or napping in the middle of everything. Because of this, we call him the Studio Manager. Vinny’s antics are always entertaining and his presence in the studio has brought a sense of normalcy and helps to fuel our work during this pandemic.”
Jeff Elliot is an artist whose day job is working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The photographs that accompanying this original artwork are of Jeff , Tae and Vinnie in the studio, and Jeff and Tae dropping off the artwork to us here in Harlem.
