A composition based on horizons and blue color. Blue symbolizes far-away places and eternity. The first images in the series project unfathomable distance, possess an astounding clarity. Everything appears tangible, reachable, discernible, definable. Clouds move in thick masses. The original image was taken at Lake Constance, Germany (Bodensee) on the boarder to Switzerland – “fogginess” invading a temple of clarity; a reflection of the changes and insecurity which the country is experiencing today.
