Description
Digital Painting, Lambda Print on fuji crystal archival paper mounted on aluminum dibond, acrylic front.
JCW worked and lived in the “Mega City” of Shanghai, with its population of over 20 million, for 18 years. An incredible organism with countless facets, encounters, experiences and moods. During his time in Shanghai, JCW took long walks at night. Blissfully solitary moments which helped to form his individual perception, images, human experiences in an urban environment – The image is technical, marked by a depth of data. “Zoom-ins” from each section could be used to create new images. – A reflection of the countless stories and showplaces in the city. Every individual “views” things from a different perspective; each “view” is another point-of-view.
