John Goto was born in 1949, and lives and works in Oxford. He studied for a BA in Painting at St. Martin’s, and subsequently completed British Council scholarships in Paris and Prague. Recent solo exhibitions include: The Commissar of Space, Museum of Modern Art, Oxford (1998) Early Works, Andrew Mummery Gallery, London (1998), The Framers’s Collection, Andrew Mummery Gallery/Portfolio Gallery, Edinburgh (1997) and High Summer, Andrew Mummery Gallery (2001).
