John M. Miller was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania in 1939. He received a BFA in 1967 from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA and received his MFA from Claremont Graduate School in Claremont, CA.
He has had numerous solo exhibitions including:“Sanctum” at Barrett Gallery, Santa Monica College, CA (2016); 2015 and 2014 exhibits at Peter Blake Gallery, Laguna Beach, CA; “John M. Miller has spent time teaching at the University of California, Los Angeles and at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He has also been the recipient of grants from the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation as well as fellowships with the National Endowment for the Arts.
