Description
This limited edition hand signed, dated & numbered silkscreen was created by Jonas Wood to help raise money for a New York political action committee that raises money for Democratic and Progressive candidates. Jonas Wood's not-so-subtle work "VOTE". or rather "VOTE, VOTE, VOTE, VOTE, VOTE" was released right before the midterm elections in the US Congress, and it sold out immediately. This dazzling silkscreen is designed in the patriotic colors of the American flag - Red, White and Blue, and it features the artist's trademark basketballs to depict the letter "O" of the word "Vote". When this work was first offered for sale, only one piece was allowed per person, and Federal election regulations forbade purchases by non-US buyers (as the purchase was considered a political donation). But today - anyone from anywhere in the world can buy this print. Already a collectors' item. A memorable gift for lovers of Democracy everywhere. This work is sold Framed.
