The sheet bears the stamp of the publisher and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix.
The work was created for the cover of "Masters of the Poster".

The lithograph was edited by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Imprimerie Chaix in 1897. It was part of this eponymous portfolio which represented reproductions of the most beautiful illustrated posters of the great artists of the time. Rare supplement sheet which was only offered to subscribers.

In correct condition, the sheet has some foxing and humid stains in the margins.
