Julie Himel builds an impressionistic landscape with indigo blue, deep phthalo blue, and warm cobalt blue in Forever Place II. Luscious brushstrokes betray the hand of the artist and a pop of peach pink signals the ending of another day.

Julie Himel completed a BFA at York University with additional studies at the Toronto School of Art and Langara College in Vancouver.
