It is a simple hollow box which is covering something that is not allowed to be revealed. It could be hiding an object, a trauma, a fear or some other unknown. It is not unlike his paintings which are often partially or fully erased. Fragmented scenarios, which evoke disconcerting, mysterious gestures and relationships.
