“Snoopy” by KAWS, a contemporary artist known for his fusion of art and commercial, leading to collaborations with high-profile brands to create items like toys and clothing. This limited edition work features the outline of the beloved Peanuts character Snoopy, one of many appropriated media figures that reappear throughout KAWS’s body of work. The famous canine’s silhouette is die-cute to precisely replicate his iconic figure, and is filled with converging lines, and overlapping swaths of vibrant color. Like many of his pieces, “Snoopy” reinterprets recognizable imagery from pop culture through a playful palette and lens that is distinctly his own. The print measures 10.2 inches tall by 7.9 inches wide, and is signed and numbered by the artist.
