Haring accepts the invitation to visit his correspondents´ school and states, "I am going to Brasil (sic) in February. Please call me so we can see if it is possible.´ A bold black ink letter, in capitals, in Haring´s hand. Haring died at the early age of only 31 of AIDS-related complications, so it is extremely uncommon to find such a charming, handwritten piece of correspondence extant.
