Description
In her chimerical "body creatures" paintings, Nadja Lana references to the relationship between humans and nature, but also to the ancient world of myths and fables, in lusciously colorful panoptics. The ancient god Pan, for example, was a hybrid creature with a human upper body and the lower body of a goat. Pan stands for unbridled joie de vivre, the joy of music and voluptuous debauchery - elements that can be found in many of Nadja Lana's works.
