Poster produced for a special traveling exhibition of Krasner's work "Lee Krasner, Paintings, Drawings, and Collages" at City Art Gallery, York, UK from April 30 - May 21, 1966. The image featured on this poster is a (colorless) version of Krasner's 1955, 58" x 56", oil, paper, and canvas collage on cotton duck canvas "Bird Talk", ("Lee Krasner: A Catalogue Raisonné" - Landau No. 288, page 145). "Bird Talk" would later sell at Christie's, New York, NY on November 11, 2015 for $1,205,000, Lot No. 145. Printer's imprint lower center.
"...Krasner had a major triumph in 1965 when British critic and curator Bryan Robertson mounted a retrospective of her work at the Whitechapel Gallery, in London.
