Description
The Fishermen's memorial Monument, for the over 10,000 fishermen lost at sea is located on George O. Stacey Boulevard in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
The sculpture by Leonard Craske was unveiled on August 23, 1925 and has become an important part of the comMunity as well as for visitors to Gloucester.
The present marble was completed in Craske's Boston studio in 1929 and is one of the best examples of his work .
