"I have always enjoyed making art from found objects and recycled materials. The objects contain a history which can suggest meaning or stand as symbols. This piece started when I found the metal door which says “Keep Tank Filled” lying out in a field where people had been dumping trash. Images came to mind of what that phrase could mean in other contexts. I added the photographs printed in my darkroom to elaborate on the concept."
