Description
This primary market artwork is a monotype; a unique print made by drawing and/or painting directly on the surface of the matrix (any printing surface, such as a metal or glass plate). The image is then transferred onto a sheet of paper by hand-applied pressure or using a printing press. A second, weaker impression called “cognate” may be printed from the same inked or painted matrix. This primary market artwork has been kept safely tucked away in a controlled climate to ensure and preserve its pristine condition. Shipping directly from the studio of Malcolm Liepke’s master printmaker in Minneapolis, this primary market artwork has never been owned, loaned, or publicly exhibited. $12,500.00
