4. Hindu Incense Burner (Serge Oukrainsky) with attached incenser, parcel gilt bronze, signed and dated 1920 with foundry mark “Roman Bronze work NY”, 1/31. 11 inches high. (with enclosed signed photo by Serge Oukrainsky (1886-1972), born in Odessa, who started as a mime at the Paris Theatre du Chatelet. He toured with Pavlova 1913-1915, and became leading dancer, choreographer and director of the Chicago Opera before becoming ballet master and director of the San Francisco Ballet in 1937).
