Description
Gromaire has created his own style, which cannot be confused with any other. One specialist even wrote "he builds his nudes like cathedrals...". He was recognized very early on by galleries and museums: Pierre Matisse exhibited his work at the opening event of his New York gallery in 1931, then in numerous museums such as the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris, and regularly in themed exhibitions in France and abroad.
