Description
Original drawing done with marker wash on paper signed at bottom right "Mark di Suvero" in graphite pencil. Given by the artist, in 1972, to a curator while preparing his Eindhoven exhibition. This "working" sketch depicts the sculpture that was later installed in front of the van Abbemuseum. In fact, di Suvero folded the sheet to have it with him during construction and installation. It has now been elegantly floated and framed in a black wood frame.
