The lower half of a face in a green patinated bronze is set at an angle on the ground. It leans towards a large bronze ear next to it. Classically inspired it has a contemporary theme of listening to others, oneself and nature.

The work is anchored to the ground by a pin that is sunk in concrete beneath the earth.

Hilton Moore has been a recipient of many Public Art Commissions including Valiants Memorial, Ottawa, Two Freedoms, McMurtry Gardens of Justice Commission, Sir Wilfrid Laurier for Sir Wilfrid Laurier University, Wiidookdaadiwin, Simcoe County, Flowers at Our Feet, Toronto and most recently the Borden Legacy Monument.

Her work is in the collection of the Canada Council Art Bank, Agnes Etherington Art Gallery, Sir Wilfred Laurier University, the University of Winnipeg, and many other public and private collections.
