A medium sized stainless steel bowl is coated in a brilliant ultramarine blue by sculptor Marlene Hilton Moore. The artist has used a UV resistant aerospace paint in the work. Based on Tibetan singing bowls, this larger scale outdoor version can be rung by running a wooden mallet around the rim to produce a resonant tone. This sculpture may be installed indoor or outdoor and may be paired with another, larger Ultramarine sky bowl. Both bowls are purchased separately.

She has received awards from the Canada Council for the Arts, The Ontario Arts Council and the Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation. Her work is in the collection of the Canada Council Art Bank, the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, the University of Winnipeg and many other public and private collections.
