Drypoint, fifth (final) state, printed in dark brown ink with burr and plate tone, on Vanderley laid paper with ProPatria watermark, the full sheet, annotated G in lower-left margin
Plate: 7 1/8 x 6 1/8 inches (18.2 x 15.6 cm) Sheet: 13 7/8 x 8 1/4 inches (35.3 x 21.1 cm)
This subject is one of the set of twelve drypoints included in the retrospective exhibition of Cassatt's paintings, pastels, and more than sixty prints held at Galeries Durand-Ruel, Paris, in 1893. (The final state was published in an edition of up to 25 impressions.)
