The Martyr is the one undertakes wounds in spite of itself. To cut a board, we often use another wooden board to lean on. The latter receives the saws, like scarifications, which make appear a drawing, escaping all will and control.
The artist has inserted a golden latte, the only element unscathed. This one differs from the substrate and takes a particular value by magnifying the whole.
