BC artist Pat Service explores the iconic shapes and colours of the Canadian landscape with fresh eyes. This painting in minimalist form is an imaginative view from the window of a car, created with eye-popping colours—the yellow, blue, and black outline of a mountain ridge, the land, the sky, and the road against a bright orange backdrop.

She acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of B.C. and later studied art at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. Service’s work is held in private collections in North America, Britain, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
