Markings
At the Recto part : We can see a monument with the handwritten notes of Signac: "Guardi's grand masked ball painting". It is certainly a reference to a painting by Francesco Guardi from 1750. On the back side : "Drawings of Guardi, the Square of (St. Mark)" with a drawing of St. Mark's Square in Venice "The pier of the gondolas" with 2 drawings of gondolas as well as a monument.
