A single leafy tree top on a slender trunk and set against a creamy lemon yellow sky on a small panel is paired with another unique painting of a slightly fuller tree on a light pink ground. These intimate and jewel like paintings that are finished with a layer of resin, are not unlike profile cameo portraits. These two are sold as a pair. Each panel is 7.25 x 5.25 inches.

Peter Hoffer (b. Brantford, ON) holds a MFA from Concordia University and degrees from the University of Guelph and the Ontario College of Art. He has lived and worked in Toronto, New York City, Paris and now divides his time between Montreal and Berlin. Hoffer has exhibited widely at art fairs in Basel, Toronto, New York, Stockholm, London, Milan, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. His paintings are held in many private, corporate and public collections including the Musée des Beaux Arts, the Musée du Quèbec and the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery.
